Galvanized Wire
We manufacture and provide quality Galvanized Iron Wire (low carbon steel wire) for redrawing and industrial use, mainly electro galvanized wire, hot-dip galvanized iron wire, tie wire, black iron wire, annealed iron wire, cut wire, etc.
Galvanized iron wire can be classified into hot-dipped galvanized iron wire and electro galvanized wire according to the differences of processing.
Galvanized Wire Specification
- Diameter of wire required: 1.4/2.0mm.
- Type of wire: Mild steel, annealed.
- Wire specification code reference.
- Zinc coating code reference: As per JIS 3532 specifications. 50 to 70 grams/sq.m.
- Tensile strength: As per bs 1052/1980.
- Chemical composition: To be tested for c, si, p & s and should comply with requirements.
- Bend test: Good.
- Elongation: 12% minimum elongation of minimum 30cm long sample.
- Surface finish: Bright.
- Length: 700 – 750m/10kg/coil.
Sizes of hot-dipped galvanized wire: 8# to 36#(wire diameter ranging from 3.8mm to 0.19mm).
Sizes of electro galvanized wire: 8# to 38# (wire diameter ranging from 3.8mm to 0.15mm).
Hot dipped Zinc galvanized iron wire with 2 kind diameter: 2.41mm and 3.02mm.
Tensile strength: 48.6Kg/cm2.
Elongation: 12.4%.
The weight of zinc galvanized: 260g/m2.
